Does the MLSR Search Include For Sale By Owner Listings?
The MLSR search incorporates listings requested by realtors from a variety of different companies. We do not offer any listing information on homes listed independently as a FSBO.
If I subscribe to the monthly newsletter, can I unsubscribe?
We provide an unsubscribe option at the bottom of every monthly newsletter. In addition, your email will be kept confidential from others.
If there is a dispute with a listed business, can a claim be made against the business on behalf of BCHN.com?
If you are experiencing a problem with a listed business on bchn.com website we encourage you to first work out the problem with the business. You can send an email to info@bchn.com. We will keep it on file and if repeated problems occur we may decide to end their listing with bchn.com. We DO NOT act as a collection agency or file claims against the business on your behalf.
What are closing costs when purchasing or selling a home?
If you are buyer always save some money for closing costs, such as: land transfer tax, adjustments and lawyer fees. In some cases your mortgage provider will offer a cash back bonus to assist in closing cost. Please ask a Realtor for more information on these costs.
What is a free market evaluation?
There are different ways for a home evaluation. However, a price tag on a piece of real estate is generally based on the previously sold homes in the neighbourhood. Considerations such as upgrades, property tax, and square footage play a major role in your property’s overall value.
What is the difference between customer and client?
If there is no signed agreement between a real estate sales agent and buyer or seller, a sales agent may provide a service with honesty and fairness which is called "customer service", but when there is a signed agreement, buyer or seller is represented by brokerage as a client. If you have a signed agreement with a sales agent we ask that you please consult your sales agent for any and all questions in relation to the purchase or sale of a home.
What is dual agency?
In some cases one brokerage represents both the buyer and the seller and brokerage is obligated to do the best for both of them.
